Very beautiful painting and idea Carole. I see you used acrylic paint is time, being watercolors are harder to use on metal. I enjoy painting acrylic. You can use acrylic like watercolors or thick like oil. One can use watercolors on metal. With watercolor on metal you need to prep the metal with watercolor exceptable finish or use a paper to metal glue to glue on some watercolor paper. After one of these steps and paiting you picture it is best to put on a glaze like finish to make it last longer. Acrylic are better, faster and much easier way to go. Is always a joy to view your art Carole. And you how I love train paintings. Favorite /Vote

Thank you for your kind comments, Ken. I always use acrylics on my metal and plastic 'canvasses'. I never thought of using watercolours on anything but paper and card.
